MohammadAli Baghbanzadeh is a research engineer at CanmetMINING, Natural Resources Canada, with expertise in water treatment, critical minerals recovery, and electrochemical separation technologies. His career spans over 10 years of cross-sector experience across industry, academic institutions, and government research programs.

MohammadAli develops and scales innovative technologies for mine water treatment, lithium and rare earth element recovery, and brine management applications. His collaborative work with industry and academic partners advances these processes from laboratory research to field-scale demonstration, supporting sustainable resource recovery.
